Edmonton Sun: "The long-awaited arrival of first-round draft pick Alexei Mikhnov (17th overall in 2000) is only days away. The Oilers and the big Russian winger are putting the finishing touches on a contract and when that's done he'll touch down in Edmonton - as early as this weekend."
